You can normally apply for Global Xchange at any time however due the large number of applications we receive its not uncommon for us to have to close an application window ahead of the 6 month deadline, we would therefore encourage you to send applications in promptly to avoid disappointment. Applications must be received at least 6 months before the start of the programme you wish to take part in. We are currently accepting applications for September 2011 only.
If your initial application is successful we will try and place you on the next assessment day with space. Spaces are limited on assessment days so you may need to wait some time for a slot, its important to note that we may not have spaces on assessment for every initially successful applicant and you may be asked to be a reserve. Candidates are selected for the spaces on assessment day based on a matrix that allows us to achieve a diverse mix of candidates on each day. Applicants must be able to attend an Assessment Day in London on these scheduled dates in order to proceed with their application.
Before applying, you should check the following:
- That you are 18-25 years old and available for 6 months (if are 25 at the start of the programme and turn 26 during the programme, you are still eligible to apply)
- That you know what Global Xchange is all about
- That you have considered fully your selected start date when applying for exchange. Due to the large number of applicants we will no longer be carrying forward successful applicants to the next round of exchanges. All successful applicants not taking an initial offer of a space will be asked to reapply for the programme if they wish to take part on a later start date.
