After the Programme
GX Returned Volunteer Weekend
6 weeks after returning home, you are invited to attend a Returned Volunteer Weekend. The purpose of this is for you top have a reunion with your fellow team members, as well as to support you in your new post-GX life. We include some ideas for future work and careers, help you focus your plans, and gather all volunteers from the past six months together to tell some stories about the Global Xchange programme and the return back into 'normal' life.
We will also be encouraging you to stay involved in Global Xchange. You will have the opportunity to feed your thoughts and ideas into our assessment of the programme, making Global Xchange better and better. We will also be encouraging you to do some presentations and recruitment events, telling other people about your experience and trying to get even more people to come onto the programme the next time round!
