Host Communities
As you know, you will spend three months in the UK and three months overseas. In both countries you will live and work in a community which is not your own and not your counterpart's.
We work in communities of all sizes, from rural villages to big urban centres. Different types of community offer different advantages. In a small rural community, the impact and visibility of a diverse group of committed and motivated young people can be huge. On the other hand, larger towns and cities are often able to offer a wider range of volunteer placements.
